Convince me that Mike Zimmer should still be the head coach of the Vikings...GO!!!

I think anyone who is a Vikings fan can see how Zimmer has just lost this team. So as the thread says...convince me why he should still be head coach...

GO!!!!!

It is time to discuss the elephant in the room!!!

I will admit that this has been, so far, in free agency one of the best off seasons in Vikings history. The defensive line and secondary has been addressed and we still have the draft. The only position that still needs to be addressed is the linebacker position as Eric Wilson will probably sign els...

Re: Vikings have #14 pick

Vikings have the #14 pick. What if Devonta Smith is sitting there at 14? Do you trade down and not take this years Heisman winner? A difference maker wide receiver and who can also return punts? Can you imagine Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen and Devonta Smith as your 1, 2 and 3 wide receivers? Also,...

Vikings fans...Why should we be surprised?

The Vikings organization has a storied history of blowing games just like the one we witnessed on Sunday night. It is a complete chaos and not knowing what to do and when to do it. The smart money would have been to not only take the extra point earlier when they tried a two point conversion and fai...

Will the Vikings ever win a Super Bowl?

This has been one of my quests for over 40 years. I was 10 or 11 years old and I got to watch the Vikings play the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XI. The Vikings have come close in recent years. They have been in at least three NFC championship games and got beat in all three against the Falcons in 1...

Two moves that might get Vikings to Super Bowl!!!

It has been a couple of days since the Vikings draft and I must say I am pretty impressed for sure with the players drafted. It appears the way the draft went that the defense was the focus as they got some really good players in Gladney, Wonnum, Dantzler, Lynch, Dye, Willegus, Hand, Cole and Metull...

Re: Hey Spielman try TRADING UP FOR A CHANGE!!!

Man, you aint got a clue. There are players that could help this team and he does not even try to trade up to get those players. We have not drafted a guard, defensive tackle, safety, or a quarterback this entire draft. The Vikings could have got up and got those players with as many picks as they h...

As long as Kirk Cousins is a Viking, they will never draft a quarterback!!!

I believe I have posted here before on this, but it is so obvious after watching this draft that as long as Kirk Cousins is in Minnesota they will never draft a quarterback. Why? I do not know. I guess the front office feels that would be too much pressure on Cousins to handle knowing the Vikings dr...

Hey Spielman try TRADING UP FOR A CHANGE!!!

I posted a couple of days ago about this might be Spielman's last draft with the Vikings because it is so frustrating as a Vikings fan watching the draft with this guy as general manager. As a fan, I am sitting there waiting(sometimes for a couple of hours) for the Vikings next pick and I look at th...

Could this be Rick Spielman''s last draft for the Vikings?

I really believe it should. Spielman over the years with the Vikings has made some really nice picks, but he has also made some really bad picks as well. Speaking honestly, I am so tired of him trading out of the third, fourth or fifth rounds only to acquire more picks in the sixth or seventh rounds...

Re: 2020 Vikings Mock Draft

Thanks for the feedback. I liked Higgins versatility, size, and big play ability. We need an explosive receiver that can take the top of a defense and we do not currently have that. Second, with Wilson at OT, he is a big, athletic and versatile tackle who has played in big time competition in the SE...

Re: WRs in Draft

There is a WR from the University of Tennessee that nobody is really talking about, but I wouldn't mind the Vikings drafting him in the third or fourth round and that is Juwann Jennings. He is 6'2'' and just has a nose for the ball. He made some big time catches while at Tennessee, but did have some...
