Hate the first two picks. After that it gets very good, but probably not good enough. Terrell IMO would be a better FRP than either of the guys you chose in the first. However, that's just me. Why did you like Higgins and Wilson enough to draft them at 22 and 25?

Thanks for the feedback. I liked Higgins versatility, size, and big play ability. We need an explosive receiver that can take the top of a defense and we do not currently have that. Second, with Wilson at OT, he is a big, athletic and versatile tackle who has played in big time competition in the SEC. Plus, I believe there will a run on OT's and we have to get one in this draft. Josh Jones could be there at #25 or a Mecki Becton.

What a surprise, no Notre Dame players since Speilman loves Notre Dame

Your mock draft is not great but I have seen worse

Higgins speed concerns me. He ran a 4.54 at his Pro Day. Pro Days are typically a tenth of a second faster than combine times so we could be looking at another Treadwell. Doesn't work for me. Becton would be incredible, but almost certainly gone. We may have a shot at Jones.

I took a closer look at Wilson and he is better than I was thinking. My opinion of your mock went up.

Is Fromm a projected 5th rounder? Seems low for him.

Not a Fromm fan whatsoever. His value is as a undrafted FA signing. His ceiling is a low level backup, in my opinion. Somebody will draft him for sure though, it seems.

I like football. Much more fun to think about what we should do with our first round picks, rather than all this other crazy shtuff.
Welp. This one was fun. Part homer, part needs, part just for fun.
22: Javon Kinlaw DT
25: Yetur Gross-Matos Edge
58: Matt Hennessy IOL
89: Ben Bartch OT
105: Thaddeus Moss TE
132: Tyler Johnson WR
155: Harrison Hand CB
201: Mohamed Barry LB
205: Jauan Jennings WR
219: Binjimen Victor WR
249: Jordan Fuller S
253: Charlie Heck OT
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

Kinlaw would be awesome. I really doubt he falls to 22. 19 days to go.

That is a terrible draft except for Javon Kinlaw and Thaddeus Moss, Kinlaw is a stud! Why draft only 1 cornerback?

Players are good, but the order of selection isn't. Going DT and DE in the first round IMO simply wrong. The only CB selected is no better than we already have. TE in the third? No don't do that. Tyler Johnson was a good selection but not for our first WR.

I like it. You're getting good value with those first 4 picks and focusing on the lines with guys who have a real chance to get on the field right away or fairly quickly.

Not as big a fan of the Moss pick. The Vikes really don't need a TE and if they do I'm not sure Moss is the right pick. Nice for sentimental reasons, though.

I really like Jennings and Victor where you got them. I think one or both of them could develop nicely.

Forgot what it's called...But you can find the link at the college football/draft thread. Pretty fun.
