I'm probably in the minority of not being surprised. I've always found Wright to disappear far too often for far too long of a stretch. AT's body of work is a lot smaller but he seems to make an impact when given the chance. I'm glad he's at least getting a look.
I also wonder if some of this has to do with run blocking. He's one of the better blocking WR's on the team outside of Treadwell.

I'm not surpised either. I was a little surprised when they re-signed Wright, just given that they seem to have some equally solid young options behind him.
Based on what we've heard so far in the offseason, I wonder just a little bit if his contract extension last year will be enough to keep him on the roster if the coaches think he's the 6th best WR on the team.

Wright made a lot of plays when he got and got us some big first downs in games...

He's a solid WR. He kind of is what he is, and I'm not sure how much better that is that what Thielen, Diggs, Johnson, Treadwell or Patterson has to offer.
Little worrying on the number of drops reported from Treadwell. Glad he's putting in the extra time after practice but I hope as the game slows down for him this stuff starts to go away...

From what I understand drops weren't an issue in college. Some are speculating he's focusing a lot on technique and acclimating to the speed of the game, which is contributing. Same thing occurring with MoBo. I'm not worried...yet.
“Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I assure you, it's much more serious than that.” --- Bill Shankly
I have been wondering what we are going to do with MoBo,Alexander and Kearse. I don't think we dare stick them on the practice squad.
Anybody have thoughts on this?
I also would agree on some of the drops, Treadwell is adjusting to the game. We do have a decent secondary.
You have to give him credit for his work ethic.
just a little worried about treadwell's drops? how do you teach a receiver to learn how to catch a football in the nfl? this offense won't improve one bit this year and bridgewater will be out. then, after we get a real qb, we can focus on a championship.
