Use this thread to post news, practice reports, interviews, photos, etc. Hopefully we get lots of great competition and zero injuries. Enjoy!

Matt Vensel ✔ @mattvensel

The first player to report to #Vikings training camp this morning? Top pick Laquon Treadwell, more than a half hour early.

And when I say injury-free, I mean it. Bears' first-round pick just got carted to the locker room already.

Andrew Krammer ‏@Andrew_Krammer

Second-year QB Taylor Heinicke just rolled in with his left leg in a cast, propped up on a scooter.
Vikings Corner ‏@VikingsCorner

Heinicke coming to camp in a cast helps make more sense of why the team was reportedly looking at Nick Foles.

Gee that's interesting on Heinicke. And a cast no less...injuries seem to be a well kept secret these days.
Thank you for the update!

Edit: hope it's a prank.

Alex Boone, who sat out last month's minicamp due to an injury, said he is "ready to roll" for tomorrow's first practice.

Mike Zimmer says the Vikings are satisfied with their QB group at the moment but stressed that can change.

I love this guy. I met him at the Draft Party, and he's freaking hilarious.

Oh, I hope that doesn't offend anyone here. Boone is pretty classless. :P

What a silly hyperbolic statement of you to make. Did Boone ever leave the field while a game was going on in a hissy fit? Your non sequitor comparison is borderline delusional.

Given that Clay seems to have carte blanche to do whatever he wishes with little consequence, including punching oposing players in the back of the head in a fit of roid rage, I'm sure there are players all over the league who would like to punch Clay Matthews in the face.

NFL's highest-paid safety Harrison Smith took the bus, populated most often by rookies, to camp. No new car? "Got a team-issued bike."
