Again? Wow two years in a row, that's terrible luck.dead_poet wrote:And when I say injury-free, I mean it. Bears' first-round pick just got carted to the locker room already.
Looking at the schedule, is it me or are they doing way more full pads work this year?

Re: 2016 Vikings Training Camp
The Bears player was just sick or something...nothing season-ending.
Re: 2016 Vikings Training Camp
Heinicke's injury required surgery just two weeks ago so I wouldn't expect him back real soon.
Edit: Heinicke said he suffered a cut above his left ankle that required surgery while trying to break into his own house. He’s hoping to be healthy by the Sept. 11 regular-season opener at Tennessee.

Will be interesting if that costs him a roster spot.halfgiz wrote:Heinicke's injury required surgery just two weeks ago so I wouldn't expect him back real soon.

I know there was a lot of people wanting to see what he had this preseason.dead_poet wrote: Will be interesting if that costs him a roster spot.
You could very well be right. Cause I think roster spots will be at a premium this year.

More on Heinicke injury: Severed tendon in left ankle, expected to be out at least two months #Vikings

Sounds likes he ruptured his peroneals then. Not good for someone who was already a fringe roster player.dead_poet wrote:

So with Heinicke on a non football injury he has to be promoted to the active roster by week 6 of the regular season or placed on injured reserve.
Hardcore that's a shame. But it sounds like it could have been a hold my beer watch this moment.
Everybody was looking forward to seeing him perform this preseason and now he could be lost for the year and loose out on a roster spot.

Stash him on IR...getting injured isn't the worst fate for bubble players, although I'm sure he would've liked to get in the preseason work.HardcoreVikesFan wrote: Sounds likes he ruptured his peroneals then. Not good for someone who was already a fringe roster player.
I won't be shocked if Moritz gets "injured" in the last preseason game.

Jayron Kearse has to be the tallest safety I've ever seen. People weren't lying about how it looked in OTA's.

Looks like Munnerlyn and Mack Alexander have only appeared in nickel. Cap w first team, Mack w second
First team nickel LBs were Kendricks and Barr. Second team: Lamur and Cole (h/t @Luke_Spinman)

Welp, Fusco wins by default.
Despite his presence at camp, I’m being told an undisclosed injury is likely to land RG Mike Harris on PUP list for lengthy stay. #Vikings
