But wouldn't the Vikings be in first place because of their division record?

They both have a division win record of 1.00. In other words they are tied based on division record. It's hard to apply tie breakers this early in the season.

Well, well, well...

The good:
Adrian Peterson
Blair Wal$h
The OL actually did quite well against the vaunted Rams' DL.
Linval Joseph is an absolute BEAST this season.
Marcus Sherels with a key return in OT

The bad:
Teddy still inconsistent
The Refs were horrific
The play calling at the end... Norv tried to get too cute

The ugly:
The refs were so bad
Locke didn't have a great game
The refs were terrible

The low-life scum:
Jeff Fisher, Gregg Williams, and the idiot player from STL. #### you all, I hope you rot in hell. ####.
The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." ‪#‎SKOL2018

I believe Green Bay still technically holds the tiebreaker on the Vikings. The teams have the same 6-2 record, no head-to-head results, and identical 1.000 winning percentages against the NFC North—but against their common opponents (Chicago, Kansas City, San Francisco, St. Louis, San Diego, and Denver), the Packers are 5-1, while the Vikings are 4-2. Basically the teams' respective games in Santa Clara make the current difference.

Thankfully it's unlikely that the division race will, in the end, come down to that.

Oh no, it will hopefully be much more climactic then that.

It will come down to whoever wins the week 17 match up will win the North title. The other will probably end up with a wildcard birth.

I'm more happy about 6-2 than first place right now. They can afford a loss to Oak if Bridgewater can't suit up next week but they need to be at the Packers in two weeks. .

I've been both predicting and hoping for this since prior to the draft, lets hope its how it works out. We played the Lions last year week 17 for the division title, and the Bears the year before, its only fitting that we have the same honor against you guys.

Packers dont like playing teams with good D. And our Vikes have one of the better ones. Its going to be a much closer game then a lot thought at the start of the year.
