As been pointed out before, it's all based on where the money is bet. Vegas wants to make it so there is about the same amount of money bet on both teams. It has nothing to do with what team is better.

Yes I know, I already qualified that vegas odds are silly, but the term 'favoriote' being applied to a 2-4 team is against a 4-2 teams moronic regardless of the context.

From a business view point Vegas odds aren't 'silly'. I think you are little too hung up on the term favorite, as it only applies in terms of the Vegas odds.

I am hung up on the word favorite, you are correct. Vegas should get a new term, because favorite shouldnt be applicable.
