I am sick of picking a player and trying to make them fit into the role. I would rather they trade down than pick a player who will not work in the system they have put out there. The Bleacher Report article posted by dead_poet, is a good one to read on the subject.

He's exactly what Zimmer wants in a CB IMO. He's a tall, physical press-man corner. That's how his CBs play in his defense.

Pondering Her Percy

I agree he is almost a perfect match with Xavier Rhodes in size and playing style.

Personally I think upgrading the d line helps much more because if teams can't run
the secondary can focus on the passing game and blitzing packages, which also affects
passing.

From a lot of the mock drafts I have been seeing they have the Vikings picking Tre Waynes in the first round.
The wild card for this whole draft is what is going to happen with AP. And if he does get traded where is he going?
Then what round do you pick up a running back? and who?
If AP sticks around I look for Zimmer to go defense with the early picks. If they deal AP he will probably owe Turner some offense picks. :)
