The PI non-call was BS, but I really don't care.

Until Detroit gets rid of DonkeyKong Suh, they can piss up a rope. Good riddance, thug.

After seeing the play a few more times, I agree it should have been called.

I don't like it when the referees make such a horrible mistake. I was even mad when it happened to Green Bay in Seattle a few years back.

Pete Morelli was the same #### who screwed the Vikings over in Baltimore last season. I don't know why he is reffing a playoff game.
I am thinking next season they will have full crews do the Playoff Games rather than bringing members from different crews together for the Playoffs.

I still think there are ulterior motives for the Officials in all sports. This game certainly didn't help to dissuade my feelings.

I wanted the Boys to win actually I was not happy Suh got to play, at all.

I am hoping Baltimore thumps NE before the Super Bowl ...

I wanted Arizona to win this year ... I guess am left just to root for the teams, that I hate a little less;
the rest of the playoffs

I've gone back-and-forth on the call. It probably was, but I also saw some offensive contact prior to the defensive contact, so the correct call may have been offsetting penalties. Depending on your affiliation there's probably evidence to support either point of view. I question more Caldwell's call to punt on 4th-and-1.

Suh redeemed himself a fraction for me after I watched his post-game presser. I still don't like him as a player (even though he's good).

Regardless of what people feel about the non-call (in my view, it was PI), another mistake was the Dez Bryant situation. THAT was complete ####. Since when can a player come all the way on the field, helmet off, and start arguing with the officials?

That was a blatant penalty.

Blandino said there should've been defensive holding on LB Hitchens before any possible PI.
Maybe the league will send them a meaningless apology like the did for the Vikes vs NO.

I guess it isn't necessarily? League saying it's a judgement call and not automatic("unless you're the Vikings" is probably penciled in somewhere)

Blandino says "we would've supported" a flag on Dez Bryant, but it's not automatic. Judgment call.

I missed seeing the play but read that there were 4 legit penalties that could have been called.

The defensive holding

facemask on Pettigrew

PI

and unsportsmanlike on Bryant

unfortunate for a playoff game. It Doesn't make much sense to put officials from different groups together for the first time in important games like they do.

And I agree that the Lions offense was too conservative overall.

Good to see Linehan having success...I always liked that guy.

Ha! Now the league sends the Lions an apology for not calling a blatant hold of Suh on the critical 4th and 6 converted by Dallas on their final drive.

Would have made it 4 and 16 on the Dallas side of the 50 and likely caused them to punt.

An apology?! lol

no link due to my dumbphone.

Stafford's reaction to the penalty flag being "picked up".
