Thielen might make the team on special teams alone, looks good returning punts and nice tackle there.

Teddy is a rookie, at TCF, with no AD. Please don't ever compare to the turd again.

Now, Ponder is going to tear apart the Raiders D in the second half, right? ...right?!? :-)

Ponder looked the same without AD the last two pre-seasons.

I fully expect him to get better. The second team could be bogging him down. But he isn't lighting it up like I would have liked to see.

Yuck. I hope we get to see Bridgewater for at least one series. We all already know what Ponder can do.

You know who didn't look good in his first how many preseason games? Aaron Rodgers, he looked borderline terrible every preseason until his first real start in 2008, I would know, I lived in Wisconsin at the time.

Its simply to early.

Not even going to watch the second half with the turd at QB. But I am pretty happy with the first half. Cassel looks like he may get the job done until they put in Teddy.

Hey, I agree. Give it time. I'm just saying he's not an immediate upgrade.

Hope Teddy gets one more series but I think ponder should look okay, it's 2nd and 3rd stringers.

I feel you man, IMO though, by the time the regular season rolls around he will prove to give this team the best chance to win.

Impression of 2014 Vikings so far:

Norv Turner Offense:
A lot clearing routes, underneath guys seem much more open then under Musgrave's system.
Then again this is the Raiders.

Zimmer's Defense:
A lot of moving pieces. Could end up biting them if guys are in the wrong position.
Much more exiting then the vanilla 2 deep safety look we've been use to seeing.

Teddy Bridgewater:
From 1st team reps in practice to this 1st pre season game, he's not Andrew Luck or Russell Wilson.
Not exactly blowing the competition away.

I have tickets to next weeks Preseason game at the Bank. I can judge better seeing the team live then on TV.

Overall, seems to be a much improved team.
