That was quick.
I don't think the old group (before Zimmer) will stay very long with the team except for smith and Rhodes

@Andrew_Krammer George Edwards essentially confirmed Brinkley will be the MLB in base to start Friday vs. Oakland.
Here but not participating in today's walkthrough are Robert Blanton, AC Leonard and Chase Ford. #Vikings

Harrison Smith on whoever gets the job next to him: "You have to be able to do it all, cover as well as tackle." Talked up Crocker
@Andrew_Krammer: Gerald Hodges is also a little leaner than he's listed. Cut out fast food this offseaaon, has seen some top reps as a nickel LB
Norv said Bridgewater and Cassel each have 3 INTs: 1 bad read, 1 WR mistake and 1 great play by defense #Vikings
Norv Turner said Bridgewater is playing at an "awfully high level" despite recent string of INTs #Vikings
Turner: "Throw three picks in 150 attempts, you're playing at a high level...if there weren't picks you guys would ask what's wrong w/ D"
-- :?:
Turner on Teddy: "Hes playing at a high level, we're asking him to do things in practice we'd never do in a game to find out what he can do"
Norv Turner says the #Vikings need to see Teddy Bridgewater play with the ones during the preseason. We'll see if that happens Friday.

Did they actually say that? I've seen the quote from Turner above about wanting to see Bridgewater with the 1's in preseason(doesn't say first game anywhere) and then I see ESPN saying it will be friday. Is that espn just guessing or was that said?

@Andrew_Krammer: Defense installing a 3-2-3-3 look w/ nickel corner and Crocker/Coleman/Smith at safety. #Vikings

Disappointed that AC Leonard has been missing practice. Had (has?) a big opportunity in camp / preseason with Chase Ford out.
Looks like the #Vikings are resting vets Sullivan, Loadholt, Charlie Johnson and Robison, so some guys like Yankey will get an opportunity.

‏@Andrew_Krammer: Christian Ponder hasn't fared well vs. first team D today. 2-for-6 w/ three passes batted down and an INT to Munnerlyn just now.

Mike Zimmer expects all starters not named Adrian Peterson to play on Friday night. Said he thinks Teddy Bridgewater should play a lot.
