Oh. I forgot one thing that has been bothering me...

Why in the HELL is Cordarrelle Patterson on the bench when are trying for a rally in the end? Jarius Wright over Cordarrelle? That decision by the coaching staff right there sealed it for me. This coaching staff has ZERO clue how to coach in the NFL.

This is like worrying about why they didn't wear white pants with their away uniforms. There are so many other more critical coaching and playcalling decisions that were blown, that this isn't even worth worrying about. Not playing Cordarrelle Patterson more is quickly becoming a red herring for the problems the Vikings are having this season.

maybe he needs to put down the twinkies in favor of vegetable juice?

I am not disagreeing with you about the other critical coaching errors. Clearly, calling boot action nine god damn times throws up a red flag bigger than the Chinese national flag.

I however, disagree about your views on Cordarrelle. Why in the heck would you bench him we need him to the most? He is 6'2, quick as hell, and has big play ability. Nobody is going to tell me Jerome Simpson/Jarius Wright are better options than Cordarrelle Patterson when you need a big play. Honestly, the way it looks, we should have just kept the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th picks and drafted some depth.

I cannot wait to hear another, "he isn't showing in practice" excuse from that spineless Frazier as it pertains to Cordarrelle. :wallbang:

This is where I'm at. Ponder has had his problems and is a problem, there is no doubt. But despite Ponder, we are averaging 30 points a game and are 0-3. That tells me there are isuses on the other side of the football.

Special Teams coverage units have been a disaster this year. Stupid turnovers on offense (including two by AP) have been a problem. Porous defense on underneath throws has been a collassal issue. No excuses for the offense, Ponder has left many, many plays on the field due to his own inadequacy, but the above stuff isn't on him.

What a mess.

Quick hits? Well, I'd like to hit a lot of people. Why does it have to be quick? Can't I do it repeatedly and enjoy it?!?!

Most frustrating part: Why in the frick is no one ready for trickery on special teams when they just did a little trickery a FEW MINUTES BEFORE?!?!?

Why a few people weren't fired before they even left the building yesterday is beyond me.

And to lose the exact same way as we did last week. It's one thing to play like poop, but when you are making the same mistakes over and over...that makes me mad--like insane.

Bottom line: This team is far too talented to look like this. There is so much blame to go around, it's not even funny.

The Browns? Really? The FREAKING BROWNS?!?!?!?!?

They're trying to perfect that "give up late touchdowns for the lead" thing they've been working on. They're getting really good at it.

(The "my daughter is laying here under me" threw me off a bit. Probably could have been worded better. A lot better.)

Truly sad.

With that said, glad you had some smart people around you. I was mostly surrounded by idiots. I have to say: Average Vikings fans are pret-ty dumb. Almost every game I go to I have to correct guys because of their foolishness. They don't know what they are talking about half of the time, so I turn around and answer their questions. It's sad. Listening to their nonsense makes me more upset than listening to opposing fans. When we are struggling, it's frustrating listening to some fans say really stupid things. lol. If I was going to go to jail, it would be because of fighting another Vikings fan...or ten. lol. Everything was ALWAYS Ponder's fault, of course, even if it wasn't. But my favorite from yesterday is: Some IDIOT is like, "Nice play Ponder.....Put #12 in. Let's see what he can do." LOL You want to put Locke in as QB you MORON?!?! You still think we have Frerotte as backup or what??!! Oh my God. I always hear a lot of nonsense around me. I just sit there and shake my head, trying not to snap on people. The Vikings tend to make me mad enough. I usually don't need any extra stupidity. :D Others can be awesome, though. Just depends!

If we had a real GM, one with the power to fire a HC, Fraizer would be gone, if for nothing more then losing 2 games in a row, in the last seconds, on the same play. How do you not cover the TE like that. Not bringing in the not calling the timeout, or the fakes that worked against the Vikes.

LOL! My best one from the game was a guy saying "JESUS PONDER GET RID OF THE BALL BRO" on the play Loadholt didn't even TOUCH the DE that blew right past him for the sack 0.6 seconds into the play heh.

But yeah, lot of cringe worthy stuff, especially with the BOO birds. If the guy can't even finish his 3 step drop before someones busting through the middle that's just rough. So fickle too, harping on him 2 plays into the game but cheering like crazy when he threw that bomb to Patterson and running in those TD's only to blow up on the next incomplete lol.

Oh yes. The booing was a little much. I was freaking out. I was frustrated with him at times, but mostly like, "WHAT DO YOU EXPECT HIM TO DO THERE?!?!? HE HAS NO TIME!!!" And then when AP would run up the middle for a few yards--that was stupid, too. We were supposed to bomb it, bomb it, bomb it. Too bad Ponder didn't have TIME for that. Some people just don't get it, so they say really stupid things. Pretty sad when you want to punch your own team's fans in the face. I've burned a few idiots in my day. It was pretty fun. I had all kinds of people going "ooooooo" to make fun of the guy being burned at the time. :D How embarrassing to be burned by a female at a football game because you don't have a clue what you're talking about.

Lots of QB are under pressure. They don't make the mistakes Ponder does. Nor do they miss the wide open receivers, or stare down the receivers every play, or only make the one read. The Oline isn't Ponders biggest problem.

I was at the game as well and the calls for Cassel pissed me off. I was near the section that it all seemed to originate from and it really picked up loudly one time but that was it. Ya Ponder sucks but c'mon, it's not like putting Cassel in there is going to turn this into a playoff team. The same section tried to start the chanting again towards the end of the game but it didn't spread because by that time it was clear to most people that this team has more problems than just the QB.

Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I happened to be making a visit to the ol' trough on BOTH of the Browns ST fakes! Probably a good thing, I'm aggravated enough as it is about this game.
