Peterson doesn't have the most reliable hands... Rudolph on the other hand.

Tom Pelissero ‏@TomPelissero
Absolutely preposterous TD catch by Rudolph with Whitner all over him. Wow. #Vikings lead 23-13 pending XP.

Dan Wiederer @StribDW: What was crazier about that TD: Rudolph's catch or the fact that Adrian Peterson was uncovered in the end zone and Ponder never saw it.

So you don't throw to him when there's no one within 10 yards? C'mon.

Ponder knew I started Rudolph in FF... that's why he forced it in there.

I agree , I think they don't play favorites nearly as much as the regular refs .

It looked like there was some pressure coming up the middle. Maybe Ponder didn't see Peterson? I'm sure he'll be asked about it next week.

Either way, I can't call it a bad pass. It was a TD! Favre used to throw passes like that to Rice all the time. Sometimes you just give a receiver you trust a chance to make a play.

It looked like pass interference, and he still came down with the catch.
I've told people a million times not to exaggerate!
