Harrison Smith will make his presence known in this game.
Unlike last week, Ponder will rely on Rudolph for a good chunk of the passes, and Percy will put up his consistent solid game: 100+ yards, 1TD for Percy.
Adrian WILL break one for 40+.

Vikings Inactives vs. 49ers: 4 Bethel-Thompson, 17 Wright, 27 Burton, 36 Blanton, 50 Henderson, 79 Asper,91 Reed.
Was hoping Wright would be active.

Brandon Jacobs and Ted Ginn Jr. are inactive. Both we listed as questionable

I'll try to keep the thread updated with Tom Pelissero's tweets. If anyone know s the Vikings, it's him.

Surprised Jarius Wright isn't active simply because Stephen Burton hasn't really given them anything. They must just feel he's not ready

Good. Frankly, I think he's less of a threat than Davis, Crabtree or Manningham so I hope they overuse him in their game plan to their detriment. I'd love to see the Vikes defense get a few powerful, clean hits on him.
Hopefully, I won't be eating those words later.
I'm disappointed that Wright's inactive. It's bad enough that Simpson is missing the first 3 games but it stinks that Wright will miss all 3 too.

Per Seifert:
The Vikings had already ruled out linebacker Erin Henderson (concussion), who will be replaced by veteran Marvin Mitchell. They also deactivated receiver Jarius Wright, who appeared to have recovered from a sprained ankle that sidelined him for the first two games of the season. I'm guessing that was a special teams-related decision. Wright probably wouldn't have provided an immediate impact there, even if the Vikings could use him on offense.

The way he's been 'going to the ground' as of late, that may be quite a challenge...

LOL! Good point. It might be hard to make a legal hit on him if he keeps that up.

I'm loving your optimism but I'd love to see you be right about this stuff even more.
