Re: Browns plan to hire Stefanski
Kubiak has said he does not want to be head coach again due to his health issues so that is not happening
Head coach, that's true.
Coordinator, that's not true.
He wanted to be the OC in Denver, but Vic Fangio wanted his own staff. That's why Kubiak left Denver and became available to the ...

Re: 49ers Post Game
We just aren’t as good as the 9ers. They have more talent and dominated us, period.fiestavike wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 7:54 pm The team needs an attitude adjustment. They just aren't mean enough or tough enough to take on a bully.

Re: 49ers Post Game
Poor OL play has been a problem for the Vikings for far too long and not unpredictably, it hurt them again today. It doesn't help that the coaching staff seemed almost completely unprepared for the possibility that SF would be ready to stop Cook.
Zimmer's run defenses have been far too soft over ...

Re: Vikings/Saints Post-Game
That was the biggest, most impressive win of the Zimmer era!
It wasn't easy but I liked the game plan, I love that they came to play a physical brand of football and admire the way the Vikes fought through adversity. It was a wild, competitive game but I'm glad we get to see the Vikes play ...

Re: If any of these playoff games comes down to Kirk Cousins on a game winning drive can he do it?
I can't thumbs up this one enough. Some of us are at the end of our rope when it comes to patience with this team.
I've been watching since 71. I'm old to. This core team is declining as I type. We are a step behind the top teams but we do have a good team. If they get hot and the breaks ...

Re: Wildcard at Saints pre game
Really hoping Zimmer can get this squad up for the challenge. On paper we're just as talented as the Saints but in big game moments we are nothing in comparison. Let's take a look at our losses this year:
at GB: Got down 21-0 in the first 20 minutes of the game. Sure, the offense could've combat ...

Re: Pre-Game Thread for a Meaningles Bears Game
This is tough.
The game isn't being shown in my area (Green Bay - Detroit is on Fox). Normally I have a place I like to go to watch the Vikings when they're not on TV.
However, I'm not sure I want to go spend money on food and drink to watch a meaningless game where half our starters will be on ...

Re: Packer Post Game Postings
All QBs are skittish when there is pressure. Our guy Fran who is in the HOF looked like he was gonna cry against the Steel curtain in the Super Bowl. Cousins isn't close to a HOF level so yes he gets skittish. If I was playing and I seen a stud across from Reiff you know it will be 2 seconds ...

Re: Packer Post Game Postings
Saw a lot of comments on social media about Cousins missing open receivers, especially Thielen. Came across this:

Re: Packer Post Game Postings
What can the coaches do when the opponent's defensive line is beating the offensive line at will? What kind of gameplan is there to compensate for total physical domination across the entire front?
It wasn't like that the entire game. The last couple drives for sure it was like that, but ...

Re: Packer Post Game Postings
So you don't think the QB holding the ball longer than any QB in the NFL this week had anything to do with the pressure given up by the Oline?
https://nextgenstats.nfl.com/stats/passing/2019/16#average-time-to-throw
That is an odd stat from a QB who was "immediately pressured" on nearly every ...

Re: Packer Post Game Postings
D played a good game tonight! 3 turnovers and 3 sacks.
Offense totally stunk it up. And Kirk is 0-9 MNF.
I hope Kendricks and Barr injuries aren't bad.
Packers 55 Smith...the offense couldn't contain him.
I think it's time for change.
Just an fyi, the opponents that Kirk has faced have ...

Re: Vikings Playoff Scenarios
From the Brutally Optimistic Department:
According to Peter Schrager of NFL Network, the Vikings can still be the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Here’s how.
The 49ers lose to the Rams, AND
The Seahawks lose to Arizona, AND
The Packers lose their last two, AND
The Saints lose to Carolina, AND
San ...

Re: Kirk Cousins' contract is a bargain
I think the game is going to go toward more and more running QBs. It is easier than ever to succeed as an NFL QB. The requisite traits to succeed in the passing game have been diminished to the point that the number of human beings capable of playing QB in the NFL has grown exponentially. Many of ...
