I don't understand why they didn't put Cassel or Webb in for the Hail Mary. Don't they know how far he can throw? To me it's another example of how clueless our coaching staff can be.

An average QB and the defenses can no longer completely sell out for the run. AP for 3000. Vikings Superbowl. This is it guys..... But seriously I think Peterson is going to start to magically open up on the back of Cassel.

I think you have to keep in mind that many of those passes require the QB to anticipate which route the receiver is opting for. It requires getting to know them and timing. Things that take a little time to sync up on. I wouldn't be surprised if some of cassels seemingly misses are just syncing ...

Are some of the older team photo completely faded and is that why they appear to be wearing steel blue uniforms? I saw one of these photos on the Vikings.com web site in an article about uniforms through the years and wondered why they didn't at least photoshop it to bring it back to life.
