I scored these team photos from the Vikings Team Office. I've been a longtime lurker, I thought you guys might appreciate them. (These are the ones that actually hung in the Vikings Office)

Are some of the older team photo completely faded and is that why they appear to be wearing steel blue uniforms? I saw one of these photos on the Vikings.com web site in an article about uniforms through the years and wondered why they didn't at least photoshop it to bring it back to life.

Yeah, they are kind of a steel blue looking color. Though these are the actual team photos that hung in the Vikings office during the 60's and 70's so I imagine some fading is unavoidable. Maybe on the new reproductions they would touch them up with photoshop.

Certainly the pick of the bunch, captivates Minnesota perfectly with the sprinkling of snow, amps me even more so for the couple of upcoming seasons at TCF. Can't knock tradition.
Interesting that they went with the road whites and purple pants in 62 and 64.

Coincidence or not that the Vikings haven't made a Super Bowl trip since moving indoors?
Not that we haven't had our chances, we're 0-4 in conference championships since moving indoors. However only 1 of those was played at the dome. We were 4-1 in CC's when we played outdoors. 3 of them at the met (3-0).
We've had better home field advantage indoors .642 (154-86-0) at the dome vs .622 (97-57-4) at the met. It's our road record that took a dive when we moved indoors .418 (100-139-0) on the road in the dome era vs .512 (77-73-5) on the road during the met era.

I can hear the complaints from the front row....."hurry up and take the damn picture already, my butt is getting cold!"
Great picture though. They more than likely have faded over time. Red fades first and fastest, so the colors of the uniforms will be off. But still cool.
