8/14/22 PreSeason: Vikings vs Raiders in Las Vegas
I will be surprised if any A tier Viking plays today, but it's football and it will be fun to see the rookies and backups.

Just tuned in. Are any starters on Defens playing? I saw Dantzler.

Kellen Mond burns my eyes. Almost feels like having Jordan Love on this team.
He’s got a couple more games to prove us wrong.

Judd Zulgad has been reporting from training camp that both Mannion and Mond have been brutally bad. We're seeing evidence of that today. Mond is terribly inaccurate and doesn't read the field well. Mannion has a noodle for an arm.
Our run blocking was great on that drive, however. Schlottman looks alright at C.

The throw by Mond into the end zone...missing the wide open WRs...yuck.

Ugh, way too many penalties. Not a good sign.

Did Mond even take any snaps last year in preseason? If he did I don’t remember it. I thought he settled down and started using his running ability and drive to two TDs. I don’t think up until today that Mond got enough playing time to even shake off the butterfly’s. The guy put up a lot of great film in college and I still feel like he has something to show. Apparently the coaches are comparing the two backups because they alternated Manion and Mond against the same defensive players. I wouldn’t give up on him, he looked better when he started moving around and looked to have gained some confidence.
The O line looked decent early on with starters in. There isn’t much to take away from this game, some guys that played may not even be here next week. We haven’t seen the offense we will see next month and play calling is going to be pretty basic.
Today’s score doesn’t mean much of anything but I’m sure it will fuel some lively discussions. That will be the entertainment this week.

If Cousins goes down, season is pretty much over since both Mond and Mannion are awful
