It is ridiculous, how about waiting until after 3 years and judge him?

They put the 5 coaches who have never coached before at the bottom of the list because they have to be ranked somewhere and putting them any higher makes no sense.

They don't actually think O'Connell is the worst HC in the NFL they, just like the rest of us, just have no idea where he should be ranked.

They decided to rank all the rookie coaches the five worst and ranked KOC the worst of the rookies.

Oh boy, here we go. I expect this article to be quoted the first time the KOC led Vikings lose a game. It will be posted as an “I told you this would happen when we didn’t hire Harbaugh”.

Look at it this way - he has nowhere to go but up. He's literally starting out with no expectations and everyone is going to be willing to cut him a break because he's never been a head coach. He could come in and rock, in which case he'll move rapidly up the head coach rankings.

I'm pretty excited to watch the offense for the first time in a long time. If he can schem as well as McVay and Zac from the Bengals they'll do well.

And yet ... Vegas has O'Connell tied for 3rd most likely to win NFL Coach of the Year at +1600 (16 to 1).
