Brett Favre

Post by PacificNorseWest »

I keep seeing the Sloter and Case Keenum thread popping up into relevance, so let's just throw this out there arbitrarily and act like it/he would work for this team as well...

What I really want to say though...living in Seattle, watching the Seahawks play, most notably, Russell Wilson...it's exactly what Minnesota wants to be, but they dont have the efficiency out of the QB position to do it. They (Seattle) impose their will with the run game and Russ drops dimes all day in the passing game. He had his best season last year, despite limited attempts. Zimmer ain't Pete though and Cousins is surely nowhere near Russ....and it really really sucks.

Oh well....Skol Vikes!

I like Russell’s game. IMO if he was the Vikings QB Our offense would be unstoppable. Haven’t been Much for Pete Carroll since the USC scandal on his watch. The Hawks sure got handled by the Saints last week at home. Saints are playing some good football behind Teddy two gloves. Would love to have seen him in purple with this team as well.

The thing I most like about Wilson was also one of the reasons I like Bridgewater so much - very cool under pressure. It was a trait I always thought valuable and now watching Cousins I'm starting to think it's probably one of the most important attributes a QB can have. It's difficult to watch Kirk when he's in high pressure situations. On par with the kicker lining up in high pressure situations.
