This just in: Ponder will start. Bridgewater is fine but Zimmer wants a better look at Christian. Teddy will back him up today.

Okay, you knew it was BS from the start but it still helped wake you up, didn't it? ;)

Here's hoping the Vikes get their third win of the season today!

We aren't going to score many points today so our defense needs to shut down a hobbled Lions offense or we are cooked. 17-13 vikings!

Players Minnesota has to watch today on Detroit: Stafford (without saying), Golden Tate, Joique Bell (screen game could kill us if we are not disciplined), Eric Ebron (it would figure that his coming out game in the NFL would come against us). Defensively, DeAndre Levey, Suh/Fairley, Darius Slay, and Glover Quinn will provide tough match ups. Jarius Wright needs to have a big day over the middle of the field. Patterson should be able to win his match up with Slay just given the size differences.

Anyway, we have Teddy Bridgewater back. I am expecting a win today. This team needs to have a consistent day on all three phases. Skol Vikings.

I just heard on the radio: Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush are both inactive today.

That's right! I stole that from the Harbaughs and use it with my family. The kids love it.

Let's hope the Vikings can take advantage... I have seen times in the past when the Vikings have made backups look like Hall of Famers... :?
The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." ‪#‎SKOL2018

Headly Bongwater has done in one game what Vested Plunder couldnt manage in many. Inspired. Oh and he played pretty good to. Yeah yeah, Plunder had a moment or two.

Its hard to not think we'll win this game but just a little bit harder to think we'll lose. I dont know what to think or how to think it. So im going out on a limb and calling for a tie. 28-28.
