Patriots @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 2

Post by yezzir »

Good morning and Skol!

This Vikings team feels and looks way different than the last couple years. Should be a fun one!

Prediction: Vikings 37, Patriots 31

Excellent. The game is being shown to 2/3rds of the country. Hope we show up and surprise everyone. Game coverage map.

Let's go Vikes...I do not care for the stress of a close game. A 3 touchdown lead will suffice!

Although I was generally pleased with my online Sunday Ticket service last week, I must say, I am quite glad that the game will be shown on cable for me this week. Sunday Ticket is usually a few plays behind the regular broadcast.

Honestly, I have no idea what to think about this game. Maybe it is a pansy move on my part, but I refuse to give a prediction. No one in the country is expecting us to win.

I really don't have a ton of confidence in this being a high scoring, shoot em out game. Last game Zim faced the Pats, his D held them to 6 points. Vikings D may not be better than the Cincy D last year but they may end up a better D, sooner than later. That would be nice. I think the Vikings have a fighting chance. Have to keep the D fresh and the offense on the field as long as possible, keeping the ball out of Brady's hands.

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

Atta-girl! I chose a lower score, but the same result:

24-21 Vikes :v):

Beautiful stadium. And hopefully you have a view of the skyline behind the cut out end of the bowl.

No work for me today. I get to watch.

I would say, nationwide, 85% of the country would take the Patriots in this game.

This could be awesome. :smilevike:

All of the ESPN 'experts' now chose the Patriots to win, a few of them had the Vikings.
