It might be quite hard to dispute that and I would have to agree.

Lots of room for improvement with the Vike's passing offense.

Would you say the same for Seattle? Ranking by passing yds and you'll find Wilson only 5 spots ahead of Cassel. If you sort by QBR, Cassel jumps to #4. Not saying he's the 4th best QB right now but he certainly isn't #30.

Would I have liked to see 400yds in the air? Sure. But I think you're forgetting how good the Rams defense is. Norv called a great game IMO. Nullified the pass rush for the most part. There was no need to go deep. that wouldve been playing right into the Rams defensive strength.

I'm excited to see what Bridgewater can do too. I just think it's a little far fetched to criticize Cassel's performance on Sunday.

Well put. I think the past decade of QB play has just scarred a lot of our fan base too deeply.

I am pretty sure that I said that there is room for improvement in the passing offense. I would like to see Rudolph have more than 2 catches and certainly see CP get the ball thrown to him more.

But 4 of the top 7 in that list lost. We won. Yay. :cheer:

I would like to see a much more aggressive offense but one can't blame the play calling or botched snaps on Matt Cassel.

Cassel hasn't shown us that he is Brett Favre, but on Sunday he didn't HAVE to put up monstrous stats for us to win. Do we want to see more passing, sure, but it pretty hard to argue with a 113 QB rating and #4 QBR. We blew them out, not much need to go deep when you are up by over 20 and your Defense is owning their offense. It would be STUPID to do that.

Nothing to see here IMO. This week we'll probably see him having to throw it around more as I do not think our Defense is going to shut down Tom Brady, so the O will need to answer at some point. Let's see how that plays out, then we'll have something to talk about.
