Sigh.

I was supposed to be going to this game with a group of my friends, but unfortunately, midterms strike for yet another year. Good old college. I was hoping to go because we typically win when I am present. Plus, watching any Vikings game in person is always a blast.

Anyway, I expect a win today. It might not be pretty, but I think we win. We MUST contain Greg Olsen. If we don't, it is going to be a long day.

Blair Walsh is questionable.

Are you trying to tell me that a prerequisite for a Vikings win here is covering a tight end?

Panthers by 17.

Don't forget about Steve Smith. He always seems to put up big numbers against our defense and this year should be no different. He may not be a big guy, but he's got a knack for getting open.

I do not think that he is saying that Olsen will be a deciding factor BUT he needs to be covered or he will make a difference.
17 point loss at home  Man you have zero faith

Andrew Krammer @Andrew_Krammer

Blair Walsh is out here kicking more than an hour before kickoff. Appears he should be able to go. Clearing from 45yds #Vikings.

That's good news. I wonder if they'll ask Locke to handle kickoffs to minimize stress on Walsh's leg.

Sucks this game isn't on my tv. Stupid Packers. So I have to go to a local bar and make my root beer and snacks last three hours. :) I've done it a few times before, and I'll do it again. It's just a bit odd and embarrassing. :) Thankfully not many people are drinking already. lol

It doesn't have to be pretty, and let's face it, it probably won't be, but as long as we win and remain healthy I'm good with that! I hope Peterson has a good game, too! It's time to work our way back to .500 these next couple weeks and get back into the mix!

Good for Peterson. I want him to play, but there's also a time to grieve and a time to channel that grief into something productive and to each his own.
Did you guys hear about that high school football team that cancelled their season because a player died? I'm sure that was the LAST thing he would've wanted to happen after his death.

Direct Ticket finally pays off (the first 4 games were televised locally) as the Packers are the "local" game today. I'm trying not to think about my cost per Viking game right now.

AP goes for 4 TDs and the single game rushing record in memory of his young son. Cassel looks terrible and sets the table for Freeman to start next week at NY. Vikings win by 4
