How to finish a game

Post by Webbfann »

The Packers demonstrated how to do it today. I wonder if our coaches ever watch Packer games? :D
With 7 minutes left, up 19-3 with a sure win in the pocket, they weren't content to sit on the lead even though the Lions only scored 3 all day. They were aggressive, threw the ball and moved down the field. They ended up having to settle for a field goal, but not for lack of trying to get 7. I'm sure if it was the Vikings, they would have handed off 3 times and punted for another white knuckle finish.

Dink and dunk offense bend but don't break defense. Gutless. Need new coaching...

This has been quite the lesson on how to play football. Thank you.

It was about how to finish a game, not how to play the game.

Ever since Childress came here, thats how we play. Its even worse with Fraizer. Its infuriating.
