Trade AD, Fire Frazier
Writing is on the wall...time for Vikes to start over.
AD to Denver for Montee Ball, '14 1st and '16 1st plus a bunch on 2nd and 3rd rounders over next 2-3 years.
Bring in a coach after the season who will send Ponder to the streets and coach young core of Kalil, Rudolph, Floyd, Rhodes, Smith, Patterson, and numerous draft picks.

I approve of this message.
Re: Trade AD, Fire Frazier
I better take a break from the board, because if I read one more "Trade AD" post, I'm going to punch a cat.

Are we going to drug Elway and get him to agree to that deal?

You don't want to see AD play with a real QB and have productive final years with a real chance at a ring?BGM wrote:I better take a break from the board, because if I read one more "Trade AD" post, I'm going to punch a cat.

No. I want to see him set many records, dominate the NFL and win multiple rings and retire a Viking. Trade one of the best players in NFL history while he's in his prime? When has that kind of addition by subtraction ever worked?rugbyrugger23 wrote: You don't want to see AD play with a real QB and have productive final years with a real chance at a ring?

Trading AD is actually not a bad idea at all. I don't see why so many fans oppose it. Why not explore our options. Peterson will go nowhere with this team. Our O-Line and QB are terrible. Trade him now while he's still good for a 1st rounder and some additional picks. This season is over for us anyway.

Re: Trade AD, Fire Frazier
Come on, do you honestly think he's going to win a ring here? LOL. By the time we would even have a chance to build a SB caliber team, AD will be on the back end on his career. As much as I love AD, let the guy go and have success elsewhere. We are nowhere close to being a SB caliber team.BGM wrote: No. I want to see him set many records, dominate the NFL and win multiple rings and retire a Viking. Last year was a complete fluke and took an almost record setting season by AD to even sniff the playoffs. I don't know why people don't realize that lol.

I think we should trade AP........I bet Spielman could get a 3rd rounder for him

All Viking fans would love to see that too. Just not reality no matter how purple your rose colored glasses are.BGM wrote: No. I want to see him set many records, dominate the NFL and win multiple rings and retire a Viking. The Wilfs should have sent this garbage team to LA when he had the chance.Purple Jesus wrote:We should just leave this team in London and build a new franchise from the ground up.

If we got a 1st rounder for Harvin, I wouldn't accept anything less than a 1st rounder for Peterson.radar55 wrote:I think we should trade AP........I bet Spielman could get a 3rd rounder for him

I have been holding this in for a long time, but I am cranky right now...
If you seriously believe trading AD will make this team better, you are a $@%#ING idiot.
Now where is that %&^#%$ cat!

Who said it would make the team better now? That's not how trades like this would work. But whatever you think man.BGM wrote:I have been holding this in for a long time, but I am cranky right now...
