Vikings place Christian Ballard on the "left squad" list

Defensive tackle Christian Ballard, who has been absent for personal reasons the past eight days,
was placed on the active/left squad list. Frazier said the Vikings won't have to make a decision on
Ballard's status until it's time to make the final roster decisions.

When are first cuts?

Guy showed some skills but we just invested a first round pick at defensive tackle. Along with the other guys they feel good about, no time to mess around with some mid-level player. Let him figure it out elsewhere!
