This thread title brings back fond memories.

I'm not too concerned with quarterback game 1. However, I am curious to see these linebackers people have been bragging about. Curious to see what Webb can do out there too.

Usually I don't care for preseason games but I have to see Michael Mauti in action. :D

The only thing I care about in preseason
Is avoiding talent and picking best talent
for last ten roster spots or so ...

I think you meant to type "avoiding injuries". :)

Yeah, I know it was...but sometimes you'd beat him to it. In this case, you did again.

It kind of feels weird it's about that time again. I'm ready!

I'll be concentrating on receivers and DBs primarily. I'm excited to see Webb on the field, along with what Patterson is made of. Like I said before, the run opens the pass opens the run opens the pass...... If we can get some balance in our offense, we could do VERY well.

I want to see clean, consistent play from the DBs with strong tackling. Can't depend on hitting a receiver down, gotta tackle them. How have we improved? I'm anxious to find out!

Stay healthy boys!

I'm excited to see what our rookies bring to the pre-season table, it's almost time for Vikings football again

:smilevike:

I'll let you get away with the pre-season game threads. But I do all regular season game discussion threads. *kinda joking, but not really*

That won't be hard for me to beat, being I live down in Oz. I'll just start mine on Monday evenings when everyone back in the states is asleep. 8)

Ha. You're cool Jeffbleedspurple. It's just one of my Viking pride moments. Usually the night before or morning of I make the thread. I'm a huge nerd.

Anyway, I went to school at SCSU and graduated from there recently. One of my favorite cities. The fishing along the Mississippi around campus is awesome. :smilevike:
