I saw a news blurb on ProFootball Talk about JJ Watt and Aldon Smith, each at 19.5 sacks, being just 3 away from Michael Strahan's season record.
So I went to NFL.com to check out some player sack stats. Jared Allen has 9.0 sacks this season, Brian Robison has 7.5. As far as team sacks go, the Vikings are #18 with 30 sacks. Not very good, but there are teams that are worse off. For instance, the Houston Texans have 20 sacks.
Wait... JJ Watt plays for Houston. He has 19.5 of the Texans' 20 sacks.

This can't be right 97.5% of a teams sacks belong to 1 player?
Re: Houston Texans - A nearly unbelievable stat
You're right. NFL.com must not be keeping it up to date. ESPN shows Houston with 42 sacks and the Vikings with 35. Should have double-checked.
