Cuts thread

Post by dead_poet »

Vikings have begun the process of cutting down to 75. They've waived Solomon Elimimian.

I'm told the #Vikings also have waived RB Derrick Coleman.

Nothing earth shattering so far.

When are the next set of cuts due? I'm anxious to see what the team does with the skill positions on offense.

@markcraignfl: Seven undrafted rookies survive #Vikings' first cuts: CB Felder, LB Paredes, C Saulsberry, DT Baker, G Holmes, G Pasztor, OT Murphy
Arg. Murphy. They must be short tackles.

Was hoping to see more of Elimimian but understandable he was cut due to the hamstring.

The Broncos have Adam Weber rated as their 4th QB. I think that he has tons of upside. He has a good arm and he is 6-3 210. I do not think that the Broncos can sneak him on their practice squad this year. Just sayin...

Weber!!! Had enough of his inaccurate garbage the entire time he was here with the Gophers. Why would anyone want that guy on their team is beyond me. Packers? Great! Hope they sign him. More dirt ball than McNabb. :wallbang:

Seems as though you have a great deal of "hate" for a lot of players. You do not seem capable to just comment about how you feel you seem compelled to "bash" them. HE PLAYS LIKE GARBAGE AND HE IS A DIRTBALL. Interesting.

What is this "hate" stuff? I watched him for 4 years with the Gophers. And he's terrible. What do you want me to say? He wasn't drafted. And is a 4th stringer. I guess the NFL feels about the same way. (Only reason they signed him was probably because of Decker. Who's a damn good receiver and will have a heck of a career...unlike Weber who will have no career.) Maybe the arena league? Australian bush league?

Playing on a horrible Gopher team he still put up some good numbers, showed mobility, and was good enough to make a practice squad on an NFL team. Out of curiousity what's up with the dirt ball reference?

He rifles a lot of balls into the dirt three yards in front of his receiver. McNabb did the same a lot too. Don't know if it's a mechanics issue or how they hold the ball or what. Wasn't calling them dirt balls. >_<
