What position would you play and why?

I know many of you would like to be the cheerleader coach but I'm talking about the actual team.

Defense: I'm only 5'4", 115 so I'm definitely not built for any position on the team except maybe the kicker or a cute little Leprachan mascot. Lineman is definitely out. They'd have to tape another person to me to come even close to filling that position.

I think I'd be a linebacker. I think most LBs are a little insane and I'd love to be let loose with a straight line to the QB. It just looks like it's a lot of fun.

Offensively, I think I'd want to be a WR. I don't think I have the patience to be a QB. I'd probably start a war with the player who sacked me, getting up after the play and starting a fight. I get mad very rarely but when I do, I see red.

And I think special teams would be fun. I wouldn't want to be the returner because I'd have too much fun blocking.

Wide Receiver. I used to be really fast, and I was actually good at catching the football, even one-handed. I'm only 5'8", so not big enough for much else.

Safety. Better to dish out the punishment than take it.

No glamor but Long snapper sounds like a good job too. You're in there maybe 10 snaps a game? I'm betting these guys can have really long careers and at the end you won't hobbling around with old football injuries.

Linebacker...love tackling people and I love faking blitz while running to the line then backing off...

Well, I'm only 5'7, so my choices would be limited. But I was always drawn to the defensive side of the ball. When we played intermural football in high school, I always played DB. Was able to keep the QB from throwing to my receiver, cuz I covered 'em like a glove, even though I wasn't that speedy. So, I suppose that's what I'd play.

On the offensive side, I don't know.

I played center and middle linebacker when I was younger.

I played flanker and safety when I was older.

The only thing I could play for the Vikings is coach.

FB/TE or OLB. Basically what I played in junior high & high school. Playing the H-Back position like Chris Cooley does for the Redskins would be cool, do a little of everything.

I'm 6' and stocky, built like a brick ####-house, but still fast and agile with a good sense of balance. Well, WAS fast and agile with a good sense of balance. Things tend to change after a decade.

6'2" 240 lbs......fullback or tight end . i'm not real fast but i use to be able to run 18 miles rather easily when i was in golden gloves boxing. i could take a good hit. and had good hands.

I mentioned that I'd like to play WR but I have the same condition as
Berrian - hamtrings that are so tight, I have to stretch them daily, and when you pull one. Ouch.

Or maybe I'd be a coach, yelling at Chilly when he goes conservative too early in the game. Heh, I'd volunteer for cheerleader but I've never been able to do splits because of my hammies. I swear, both Berrian and I were born with hamstrings 2-3 inches too short on both sides. LOL

If I was on the field it would be a LB or Free Saftey
