RIP, Eunice

Most of you know I'm as conservative as the Kennedys are democrat but Eunice Kennedy Shriver was a good woman who did a lot of good things. RIP, Eunice.

LOL! Well, it ain't Ted. But the man who has been my political enemy for so long probably isn't far behind Eunice. He doesn't look well at all. I imagine it's a pretty horrible death and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I feel so bad for the family. They have had so much tragedy, part of it being Maria Shriver marrying a moron like the Governator. At least Eunice is with her brother again. Had he lived, I think JFK would have made one of the greatest presidents of all time. I cried when they sang Ava Maria at her funeral. That song always gets me, especially when Pavarotti does it.

I agree with you about JFK. It's a shame we didn't get to see that happen.

Taps at military funerals always gets me. I'm not sure why, but it does.

Yes, she did. The world needs more people like her.

If that gets you (it does me too), I think you'd like an HBO moving called Taking Chance. Maybe it's because I'm a former military wife that I get so teary during those types of movies.
