Well, the Gophs play NW on thursday in the first round. I was hoping NW would be able to sneak in to the big dance, but I want the Gophs to go more than NW. I was hoping that the only way those two would play would have been the championship game, but alas, they play right away. Min needs at least one win to get in to the NCAA tournament, NW needs at least two, and that would still be a long shot.
Geoff, have you watched much of NW this season? They seem to be much improved. Are they finally on the upswing?

Re: Big Ten Tourney
Northwestern is put in and Minnesota out, but I don't buy it.
If Minnesota beats them then they should get in.
I'm sick of tourney winners getting automatic bids.
Its nonsense that Big Ten teams like Penn State and Minnesota could get bounced to make room for Cornell and Chattanooga and other crap teams that aren't on anybody's radar.
