The Shield

Post by Vikefantam »

My husband and I just started watching this series by renting the DVDs from Netflix. Boy, what a show. Does anyone else watch it? We're on the first disc of season 4.

Anyway, one thing that bugs me - the cops always walk into enexplored rooms with their guns in their hand, arm extended straight out, exposed by itself in the next room. It's a perfect way to get your gun either kicked out of your hand or chopped out. When I've seen police training, or in action, the officer always holds the gun up and right by their ear. Anyone have a comment on this? I'm just curious.

Anyway, it truly is an awesome show and definitely worth watching.

We're also waiting for the last season of the Sopranos to come out.

I watched the show from the start Tammy its very dramatic and well done.

It did get a little old towards the end, but I thought it was a very good show overall.

I haven't watched it for about 2 years, but I did enjoy it when I could see it.
Reminds me of NYPD Blue.
