What is with the NBA anyway?

Run into some old friends from another group or board? Want to do a little schmoozing, talk over old times? Or just some off topic stuff, then this is the place.

What is with the NBA anyway?

Post by DeeEss57 »

Teams draft a college player, saying he's exactly what they need...

Then they trade him the next day. What's up with that?

And why do the T'wolves keep trading their picks away almost immediately? I think I'm giving up on this team until they get rid of Kevin McHale. If they didn't do this, they probably woulda won the NBA championship already. And we'd still have KG.

I'm only a casual fan, but I definitely won't be anything more any time soon. I gave up after the Foye/Roy trade. There was absolutely no reason, and it never should have happened. Along with releasing Casey and giving Wittman the job. Now we trade the superior player for another big dopey "presence"? Great, we offloaded contracts, idiot McHale got those contracts in the first place.

Man he's so damn lucky Garnett bought him these years. He didn't make that pick and McHale was probably out of here years ago...

I'm happy with the draft day trade, however I am sick of them trading picks while not signing players who can make an impact. We finally have a decent core again, and we don't make any big signings to help out the players we have.

Yeah I am happy with Miller too. Miller should really help out Jefferson. I am a little disappointed we traded O.J Mayo. Let's just hope O.J isn't another Brandon Roy disaster. I am still pretty mad at that trade. If only we could have got Arenas.
