Does anyone have Charter Cable?

Run into some old friends from another group or board? Want to do a little schmoozing, talk over old times? Or just some off topic stuff, then this is the place.

Does anyone have Charter Cable?

Post by Swaps »

I have, and this is the last e-mail I sent to them.
I am getting EXTREMELY FED UP with your service.

I have called several times, I have e-mailed several times, I have used your live chat SEVERAL TIMES BUT NOTHING IS GETTING DONE.
Everytime I try to e-mail I either get NO RESPONSE or an AUTO REPLY which DOESN'T HELP AT ALL.
Every time I call I'm transfered to different people then put on hold for 15 minutes before I hang up.

MY MODEM KEEPS RESETTING ITSELF FOR NO REASON AND NOBODY CAN HELP ME.

WHY IS THIS SUCH A PAIN?

WHY IS THIS THE SERVICE AND SUPPORT YOU OFFER.

I haven't been a charter subscriber for 1 month yet and already I'm regretting it.

FOR THE LAST TIME.

I NEED SOMEONE TO MAKE MY MODEM STOP TURNING ITSELF OFF.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

I did get a reply...

they said, "call us so we can assist you"

So I sent another e-mail saying that I already HAVE called but they just transfer me to different people then put me on hold for 15 minutes.

So I got another e-mail saying "call us."

F YOU CHARTER.

I hate Charter. Their cable service sucks and, apparently, so does their internet service. My advice, get someone else's service. I'd tell you to go Clearwire, but they're only servicing Duluth and St Cloud right now.

yeah, i've gone though the automated thing and it's even more frusterating.

Even though I enter in the serial number of the router/modem I have it still tells me to find the router and turn it off, then find the modem and turn it off...

IT'S THE SAME DAMN PIECE OF CRAP!!!

on monday i'm going to "exchange" this pile at my local office and hopefully I'll get something that doesn't completely suck. I never had this problem with Comcast nor Quest DSL when I was in the cities.

If the new equipment doesn't work then i'll give the number a call. Thanks!

I used to be a cable man for charter, everyone complained about our service.
