You have 5 teams in the Final Four?
The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." #SKOL2018

Got 21 of the first round correct. Thats horrible for me as I usually do very well in round one only to not get the correct champ and therefore always loose the pool.
I got Wisconsin winning it, though its a homer pick as they are my coll. BB team. Other final four teams: UCLA, Stanford, UNC with Wisc beating UCLA in the Nat. Champ.

I got 21 as well, but only lost 3 Sweet 16 teams. My problem is that I often get a lot right in round 1, but the ones I get wrong cost me big later (eg, taking a 7 to the elite 8, only to have that 7 lose to the 10 right off the bat). None of that so far.wang_chi7 wrote:Got 21 of the first round correct. Ugh. I lost a lot today. I had Gtown in the final 4 and Pitt in the elite 8. I'm still in the running though. It's not a big pool and between Gtown, Pitt, and one guy picking Oregon (what the heck?), solidly half the people have lost their champs.wang_chi7 wrote:I have 11 Sweet 16 teams, which is a tie for first for round two in the office pool (though am still behind because of a poor round one.) This year has so far been more unpredictable than in the past it looks like as usually 11 teams is only decent and usually someone has 13-14 teams.

Me, too. But all four of my Final Four teams are still alive.
I'm doing a lot better in the women's bracket. Got 26 of 32 right the first round. All eight of my Elite Eight are still alive, too. And I don't even pay much attention to women's BB, other than spotting the Gopher scores now and then. Three Big Ten teams let me down in the first round.

Women's is a lot more predictable. The high seeds don't get upset really ever. The parity just hasn't gotten to the women's game yet; I don't know if its because there is less division 1 talent for women (probably the case) because the game isn't played nearly as much by that sex and therefore less trully learn it. With less elite players, the big names can hog the talent.DeeEss57 wrote:
