Who's "we"? I trust you noticed that there is a player on the Vikings' offense who (1) isn't playing tonight but (2) hopefully will play next week against Detroit. Perhaps "we" will play better on offense in light of that player's presence?

Sheesh.

Except you're talking they as in Zimmer and Norv. I'm talking what Nantz got from Teddy himself. I've been there...He can play.

Whatever. No point right now.

The OL isn't setting the world on fire or anything, but Ponder is getting enough time to throw the ball. His indecisiveness is contributing very seriously to the protection problems.

He could play. But if he did, the risk of reinjury is there. Just like AD in the Redskins game. He wouldn't be able to run. He'd be risking not only reinjury, but a possible injury to another area when he favors that leg or doesn't make that cut. It wasn't worth playing him....

Wasn't worth playing this piece of TRASH either though...

Ponder probably had Asiata for a 30 yard gain to the left, if he had any kind of awareness.

They are playing as poorly tonight as they played well on Sunday. Poor blitz pick-up, ineffective run-blocking, inadequate pass protection... if we don't see a string of seriously good, consistent performances from the line before this season is over, I think Zimmer, Spielman and company need to seriously consider dismantling that line and rebuilding a significant portion of it.

I'm going to say the same thing about Turner's game plan tonight too. He did a great job last week, setting Bridgewater up with an ideal game plan for a rookie making his first start. Tonight, Green Bay obviously studied film of Sunday's game, decided to take away the quick-hitting stuff that worked for Bridgewater and Norv doesn't seem to have a Plan B, or any idea how to get the ball to his playmakers. Where's the spread he used last week? Where's Patterson? Jennings? Did he think they were going to beat GB with Asiata and Ellison and keep Ponder in a clean pocket all night?
So which is more likely - that the line played a single good game against the Falcons when Bridgewater started, or that Bridgewater's play suddenly made that same line look good?

I just don't buy it - the QB is everything in modern pro football. You get competent QB play and everyone looks good. You get crap at QB and everyone looks bad.

Let's see how this same line compares the next time Bridgewater gets the start. I'm going way out on a limb here and will say they will look every bit as impressive as they did against the Falcons.

I agree that the line is a huge issue. But it is very clear that the team plays 110% for Teddy, 75% for Cassel, and 25% for Ponder.

If the rest of the offense wasn't so bad at pursuit and tackling they wouldn't have turned that Ponder error into a score, don't blame Ponder! Blame the other guys!

Well, except for the 21 points scored. I have full confidence that the odds are better that Green Bay will score more on offense the rest of the game than they will on defense.

That first drive in the half, 2nd and 5. Run the ball!

The more I have to see god damn PONDER the more I drink. I might not make it through the night.

GET HIM OFF THE FIELD. Hopefully this coaching staff gives Harnish some snaps for no other reason than how #### PATHETIC PONDER IS.

PONDERAHOLICS ARE YOU WATCHING THIS GAME? You got 30+ Spielman starts. WHY WASN'T THAT ENOUGH FOR YOU?

This ^^^^ exactly! Teddy makes quick decisions and gets rid of the ball. Ponder ponders his options until he has none.
