The much-maligned Bill Musgrave actually fielded a very productive offense last year, despite the almost universally agreed-upon problems at QB.

@GoesslingESPN: Lots of excitement about DT Shamar Stephen recently at #Vikings camp. Zimmer, Edwards and D-line coach Andre Patterson all high on him.

Hey, Tice practically pulled that off with the running game from 2001 (ranked 25th) to 2002 (ranked first) so maybe Zimmer can do it with the entire defense.

5 interceptions in practice is beyond pathetic. if he doesn't improve somewhat over last week after this weekend's game throw up some red flags. nobody throws 5 freaking interceptions in 2 practices (and they said it should have been 6). if you guys think that is improvement great for you. in what job or career would those numbers be considered positive?

Since I have not seen any video of the 5 interceptions I cannot comment on them. I will say however to expect zero mistakes is not realistic. And I would rather him throw 5 in practice and learn from them then 5 in game.
But that's just me.

More interceptions as a positive? Well, a DB, of course. Next question.

Bro, relax. It is not like he has thrown five interceptions in a game, where they really matter.

For real though, let's try not to crush Teddy with our expectations. He might not be ready yet, but that's fine. I want to see how he learns. Remember how good players like Vince Young and Mark Sanchez supposedly were after their first years in the league? It's all about continued improvement.

And Tice did it with a RB by committee year. Of course, Tice also had a QB that rushed for over 600 yards and scored 10 rushing TDs.
