Taking a quick break in media tent. Couple of OL/DL obs - Kalil still struggling but not as much. Linval eating. Beavers not great today.

Re: 2016 Vikings Training Camp
--Sendejo/NewmanDBs are doing an excellent job in the second round of red zone drills. Have shut down Treadwell and Thielen on fades
#Vikings second team DL has been eating up the OL 2s today. Four man rush consistently causing problems.
Wright running mostly with second team today but they haven't really done any 3WR sets.
Blake Renaud just got a snap with the first team. Corner pass to Thielen knocked away by Sendejo.
Team red zone work now. Teddy short hops Diggs on what appeared go be a miscommunication. Follows it up with complete hitch to Diggs.
Would say Sullivan has been performing better than Berger thus far today
Kyle Carter isn't killing his lead blocking assignments and neither us Renaud.
Audie Cole looked good in run defense, ended up in backfield several times.
Teddy using multiple WRs in red zone, including Diggs on beautiful crossed, one-handed TD vs Cap
Teddy also had an INT in red zone--Griffen tipped, then caught it.
[/quote]Waynes held up well against Treadwell

Re: 2016 Vikings Training Camp
Everson griffen tips a short pass from teddy bridgewater and picks it off
Diggs is easily Teddy's favorite target and with good reason. Consistently getting open underneath.
C.J. Ham has been a pleasant surprise from what I've seen. Like how he cuts and hits the hole.
Red zone work now. Diggs beats Newman on an out. Griffen beats Kalil on next play for what would have been a sack.
Stave with a nice throw to Thielen on a flag to the sideline. One of his best camp throws.
Wright finds soft spot over Captain who watches ball float over finger tips as Wright catches and tip toes sideline for 15 YD gain. @Luke_Spinman Norv's reaction "little guy over little guy!!"
Teddy's response "hey Cap.. If only you was this much taller [emoji108] [emoji38]"
Hill with a bomb.. Let me repeat that.. Hill with a bomb 50 YDs downfield in a bucket to TSinkfield for TD on left sideline over defense
Austin Shepherd has stood out in a good way today. Good protection against Weatherly and Stephen.
Willie Beavers (guard) doesn't handle Hunter well and Justin Trattou beats Zac Kerin.
Treadwell drops over the shoulder toss from Hill on the sidelines 20 YDs downfield.. Tough catch but hit his hands. @Luke_Spinman teddy consoling him on the sidelines as he drops for push-ups.. The penalty for a dropped pass

2016 Vikings Training Camp
Kalil and Boone handle Griffen/Floyd nicely in OL/DL drill.
DB's working on covering WR's. Mack Alexander with good coverage on three occasions.
Treadwell just handled Newman on two one on ones in a row. Not sure what that's a sign of more.
Johnson and Diggs first team WRs to start. Pruitt getting reps with 1s and 2s in brief 11 on 11. #VikingsCamp
Waynes lets up thought play was over Thielen roams free way down field on another bomb from Hill.. AT lays out full extension but overthrown
Renaud getting lots of looks today. Line is dressed but haven't seen him in at all.
Offense getting sneaky, running an end around to Wright. Followed by Waynes sticking on Treadwell for a pass breakup.
Waynes bodies out Treadwell on Hill pass. PD.
Teddy "sacked" by Kendricks up the middle but play continues. Hits Pressley underneath, who tips it to Barr for INT
Blitz, Teddy rifles a pass through Asiata's hands, Barr makes an incredible adjustment and picks it off. Lots of big plays on both sides.
Bridgewater steps up into the pocket and hits Rudolph up the seam between Lamur/Smith was a nice 1-handed catch.
Teddy probably got "sacked" on the play, but another great throw to Thielen for a big gain followed by one-hander by Rudy up the seam
To end the period 11s third team stave nice pump fake clear CB and Hits MoBo underneath Harris on sideline for gain of 25.. Good adjustment

Day 5 notebook: Diggs makes a splash and Peterson returns

Peterson returns and looks feisty
Running back Adrian Peterson practiced for the first time in full pads. He has been recovering from an offseason hamstring tweak he suffered before camp. Peterson was running hard between the tackles and looked ferocious as he made cuts in the second level. He looked fresh and ready to make a difference in the offense. Peterson only took a few snaps, but he made the most of every rep he received in the afternoon session.

Re: 2016 Vikings Training Camp
Andre Smith is at right tackle for the second straight day. Perhaps the daily rotation with TJ Clemmings is over?
Cordarrelle Patterson and Jerick McKinnon are back, participating in today's morning walkthrough. #Vikings
