To me it seemed like the players were only trying once in awhile and it seemed rather random. There would be a hard hit on one play and then some lack of effort on the next. And what the heck was that at the end? Why didn't Cromartie's 108 yd missed FG return for a TD count? The crowd was pretty sparse throughout the game as well so I think even Hawaii is bored of this yearly circus.

Sadly I think they'll milk this new format for a few years and when it gets boring they'll try a new gimmick. Frankengoodell will keep using this game to test his little game changing experiments. It's going to take a major injury to a big name player to finally put this clown show out of it's misery.
Okay, so I have to ask the question. If you disliked the game so much why the hell did you watch it and the same goes for the Vikings

Seriously what an assault on the eyesight. Hey lets have 1 team wear all light gray and the other all white, each with chrome numbers, and highlighted by obnoxiously bright fluorescent stripes. I couldn't even see the numbers on the white team (team Sanders?). I just don't get it. I mean was this game meant to be played on the street at night or did they want to send everyone home with a migraine? Yeah it's just too hard to actually pay attention to the game itself with my eyes under constant attack.
I didn't watch the game but I saw a few highlights this morning and you're right, those uniforms were truly hideous.

It was a weird game. It's like some of the players were trying to get it going, while others were just coasting. Not unexpected I guess. The ones that were trying hard, probably got the stink eye from the "coasters" and stopped trying eventually.

Patterson looked really uncomfortable on punt coverage. I think he thought it was 2-touch.

It was mildly more entertaining then it has been for the last several years. Not enough to make it good though.
