Playoff Game could be moved to AZ because of fires

The game might be moved. I don't know how long they will wait until making an official announcement. Just for laughs it would be funny to move it to Soldier Field. Maybe we would get fog bowl II or another ice bowl. That will give an excuse if no TDs happen again. Could be another 3-0 deal with Mullens leading the FG drive. Willow will hit a hook shot from 23 yards off the goal post for the winner.

And it has just been announced that it has been moved. I wonder what this does to any home field advantage. I'm sure many Rams fans can't make that trip to AZ on a work day.

It will be a scramble for many. Just the ticket exchange will be strange. Perhaps some had to evacuate the area and this will give them a trip some place. The positive is they made this announcement early so it gives people some time to do some planning.

My prediction is the Vikings will have what amounts to a home playoff game after all. LOTS of Vikings fans down here in AZ. Heck, I went to the last Vikings-Cardinals game here in AZ a few seasons ago and close to half of the stadium was Vikings fans (and I think their reactions could be heard on the TV broadcast).

Rams fans get first crack at tickets, but come 2 PM our time, Vikings fans will eat whatever is left alive. Just watch - Vikings might not have beaten the Lions on Sunday but they still deserved a home playoff game and they're about to get the next closest thing to one.

If you think we got jobbed on the last game against the Rams, wait for this one. This has all the makings of a game where the NFL will want the Rams to come out on top - and you know what that means.

How would that be any different than how Vikings games have been called pretty much all year?

And yet despite all of the egregiously missed calls in multiple Vikings games they still stuck together and won 14 games. I expect them to continue doing that.

A lot of talking heads are noting that the Rams starters got to rest last week, which is true, but the Vikings got beat down last week on national TV in a super-hyped up game and they will want to wash the taste of that out of their mouths as soon as possible, and soon as possible is tonight's game against the Rams. I expect Vikings fans to show up in large numbers for this one. The Rams technically have home field advantage tonight, but we'll do our best to make them feel like the visitors.
