"Receiver" will follow Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders, Justin Jefferson, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel, and Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions in a docuseries that should be similar in tone to "Quarterback."
Netflix will likely spend time taking a look into how these players live when they're not on the football field as well as glimpses of them while at their jobs. Getting a peek into the lives of these superstar players should be interesing and fun while helping to create even more of a connection between the NFL and its fans.
Since it was announced, interest has continued to grow for the upcoming docuseries. The wait to watch what should be a highly talked about show is nearly over since the release date is coming up very shortly.
Netflix's 'Receiver' drops Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
The docuseries is created by NFL Films, Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, and Mahomes’ 2PM Productions. The series will span eight episodes, each with a run time of 45 minutes. Allowing six hours of content.
