I am glad Grant made it! I voted for Peterson, Carter, and Tarkenton but McDaniel, Tinglehoff, Studwell, Browner, Stinger, Yary, Marshall, Foreman, Rashad, and Eller are all deserving too so this is a much harder decision than the first 2 rounds

I chose 3 lifetime Viking players. I get Carter and AD, but Carter was an Eagle before coming to the Vikings. I know he considers the Vikings his team and did so into the HOF, but not a lifer.

I chose 3 lifetime Viking players. I get Carter and AD, but Carter was an Eagle before coming to the Vikings. I know he considers the Vikings his team and did so into the HOF, but not a lifer.
AD chose to leave the Vikings for more $ elsewhere.

McDaniel left for tb his final few years, two or three, can't recall off top of head. Not a career viking, did not spend his entire career with the team. FYI.

McDaniel left for tb his final few years, two or three, can't recall off top of head. Not a career viking, did not spend his entire career with the team. FYI.

He played for 2 years for the Buccaneers

I sure don't see being a lifetime Viking as a necessity, but it's nice. Our first inductee Randy Moss wasn't a lifetime Vikings, but he made his mark here and had the one incredible season with Brady.

Concur. Was just pointing out if using that as a standard, it eliminates McDaniel.

I have not been using it personally.

No, Adrian did not chose to leave the Vikings, the Vikings released Adrian because Vikings did not want to pay $18 million to a declining running back

No, Adrian did not chose to leave the Vikings, the Vikings released Adrian because Vikings did not want to pay $18 million to a declining running back

Adrian would have preferred to stay a Viking for Life IMO.

Paul Krause for me this round.

Poor Paul Krause, all he did is lead the NFL in INT all times playing mostly 14 game seasons and at a time when they ran 1st, 2nd and 3rd if possible.
