Described as a three-year, $42 million contract, the Za'Darius Smith deal in Minnesota is more like one year at $9.5 million. At most, it's two years, $22 million. It has a phony third year at $20 million.

I hope you're right. What I don't get is him agreeing to 8.75 million a year when it was so easy for him to get 14. That deal did have incentives that could have brought it up to 12.5 million. Our deal has incentives that could bring it up to almost 16 Million.
He didn’t agree to $8.75 million.
His deal is 3 years, $42 million — $14 million per year. Plus incentives.
He agreed to $8.75 million plus incentives over a 4 year contract with Baltimore and then backed out of it. I thought it was pretty clear in my post that I was comparing what he first accepted with Baltimore before signing with us.

CB Chandon Sullivan signed. Looks like former Packers appeal to Kewsi. He is a slot cover guy. See ya Mack. The FA merry go round is still turning. Very slow turn now.
Seems like a really heavy incentive contract for about 22 million tops for 2 years. That was exactly how to sign him and kudos to management and the coaches for pulling that off.
Im not sure why some people think Sullivan think is much better Mac was. There are about equal. I cant see who is the better CB. He certainly isnt good enough to cover a good WR. Neither was Mac though. Mac usually was usually running around like a chicken with its head chopped off.
