I agree. We all wanted Dak out too. Zimmer needs to beat some big dogs if he wants to keep his job.

He just made the west coast trip and beat an out of conference 1st place team. Does that help him?Maelstrom88 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 7:50 amI agree. We all wanted Dak out too. Zimmer needs to beat some big dogs if he wants to keep his job.

Re: Packers week
Isn't a win a win no matter what? Not too many style points in the NFL. We might knock Rodgers out again.
Re: Packers week
Zim's comments on Cole vs. Bradbury - real or motivational for Bradbury?
“We’ve had that conversation," Mike Zimmer said. "We’ll just have to see this week in practice. Bradbury hasn’t been here in two weeks, or I think he’s missed two weeks now. We’re just going to have to sort it out this week. But Mason’s done a really nice job. He’s done a terrific job. We’ll just try to figure this out. It’s better than having no options."

They've both played a lot at G over their careers - maybe play both and bench Uh-oh. I mean Udoh.

Re: Packers week
Udoh has really struggled as of late. I suspect one of the main reasons is his pad level gets high. He's a bit tall for an interior OL player and I think that allows defenders to get under his pads, especially as the game progresses and Udoh tires out.
Udoh was a tackle coming out of college IIRC and right tackle is probably his ideal position in the pros. Unfortunately for him, O'Neill has that spot locked up for the Vikings, so guard is his only way to get on the field.
As for Bradbury getting back on the field, his main issue is simply functional strength and maintaining his base. He just gets overwhelmed at times and can't anchor himself. Cole has done a better job of that. Not sure if moving Bradbury out to guard changes the reality that he's just not strong enough in his lower body to compensate for his lack of size.
If I were Zimmer I'd stick with Cole. If I were Spielman I'd be shopping Bradbury aggressively to try to get what I can for him. I think his days as a Viking are numbered.

Re: Packers week
I couldn’t care less who plays for them. Beating the Packers brings me great joy. Who plays quarterback for them is of absolutely no concern to me. Do you think Packer fans care that we’ve lost Danielle Hunter for the year? Or that Anthony Barr might not play? Or that Michael Pierce is on IR?
Just beat them. Beat them by 40.
And if the lying sack of sh!t Erin Rodgers does play, then send him out of Minneapolis with his tail between his legs and the rumor mill about his imminent departure spinning like a top.
Go ahead. I dare you.
Underestimate this man.
