Weatherly was traded to the Denver Broncos along with a 2023 7th round draft pick for Denver's 2022 7th round pick :lol:

I mean it's like they gave him away. He hasn't done much but still. I wonder if we are clearing cap for a move?

So basically they just gave Denver weatherly. I guess we can hope Denver stinks the rest of the year. But it’sa 7th rounder

Don’t really see no big benefit for us. An extra pick next draft. But short a pick the following.

They ate his cap of $2 mill. The move can open up the doors for us to be active at the trade deadline

They are on a 4 game losing streak so it's a safe bet to assume they will stink. This is basically a bar room buddy deal. Nobody gives or gets anything. Perhaps it saved Speilman some paper work on the cut vs trade process.

You are probably right. If we were letting him go anyway. Saved money. Win. Just not much to talk about
