Re: Draft thread
I wouldn't rule Trent out. Ezra might be a guard.

Re: Draft thread
Cleveland is a poor pick. Loved everything they have done before but this guy is a development prospect. Two high for the 2nd. Would have gathered Jones and or Fulton.

I think the Skins are screwed. They wanted too much for him, and now the 2nd round is basically over.RandyMoss84 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 8:08 pm I am sad that Trent is out of the running but that is okay, I am happy with Cleveland! I am really curious to see if Redskins will trade Trent somehow

Go ahead. I dare you.

Minnesota had extensive discussions with Washington, which never pulled the trigger on a deal.

Re: Draft thread
Just glad they focused on the lines with this pick.
Cleveland is smooth mover who rose up draft boards late. Not sure what to make of that (usually not a fan of late risers because they are usually rising due to Combine results and scripted pro days), but he is a better prospect and more pro-ready than O'Neill was coming out and I see them as very similar players in terms of their ceiling. O'Neill worked out well and if the Vikings did their homework I expect Ezra will follow the same trajectory as a pro.

I saw him when watching Mattison clips after last years draft. I thought he looked amazing.YikesVikes wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 8:11 pm Cleveland is a poor pick. Cleveland's athletic profile is absurd.

He's a lot like O'Neill coming out and that worked out well, so I can't sell the pick too short.YikesVikes wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 8:11 pm Cleveland is a poor pick. He's bigger than O'Neill and almost as athletic.VikingLord wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 8:12 pm Just glad they focused on the lines with this pick.

Re: Draft thread
Good. Athletic guy that they can develop vs a guy that would command draft picks, more money, and likely can't stay on the field. This was the better move long-term.

Re: Draft thread
Issue with moving guys in college. I like reach blockers but I like movement on our line as well. Too often last year, we simply could not move guys out of a hole. Cleveland is more of the same.VikingsVictorious wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 8:12 pmI saw him when watching Mattison clips after last years draft.
