Stephen Weatherly to Panthers
DE Stephen Weatherly will leave the Vikings to sign a FA deal for 2 years at $6.6million and probably take over one of the starting DE starting positions with the Panthers.

Sucks to lose him but not surprised. Happy he will get a starting opportunity.

At that price we should have figured out how to keep him. Mistake.Maelstrom88 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 8:13 pm Sucks to lose him but not surprised. Happy he will get a starting opportunity.
EDIT: The way I read it he was signed for just over $3 million a year. Turns out it was over 6 million a year. Not a mistake. We had to let him go.

Re: Stephen Weatherly to Panthers
I thought Vikings priority is to resign Weatherly? I guess I am wrong, with Weatherly gone, Vikings need back up defensive end?
Re: Stephen Weatherly to Panthers
They have Odenigbo... Then again right now he's pretty much the other DE with Hunter.
