I wouldn't. It's like the fourth game of the preseason except the Bears will be trying really hard by playing starters.
I went. I’m a sucker.

Did enjoy some nice craft beers. And it was fun watching Odenigbo score another TD, even though i5 got overturned on review. But yeah, mostly like watching a preseason game.
Sounds like a good time at least. I'm gonna check out the replay on gamepass tomorrow. Odenigbo should replace Griffin next year imo.

How do you like the facility? Good place to watch a game. You hit a bad break. Before the season I thought it would be a playoff determination game. In other words I thought it would mean something.

Sorry, I didn’t go to USB today. I went to a restaurant/bar so I could watch the game, which wasn’t telecast in my area.

However, I’ve been to the stadium four times, and it’s nothing short of amazing. Lots of announcers say it’s the best in the NFL, and while I haven’t been to many others, I find it hard to imagine anything better. Great sight lines, huge video boards, good food, lots of bathrooms, super clean, and great WiFi (which is surprisingly important in today’s world). It’s just beautiful. The EFTE plexiglas really makes you feel like you’re outside. And the SKOL chant live? There’s nothing like it.

Go if you get a chance. Pay whatever you can afford and go. You won’t regret it.

EDIT: If the Vikings would have made the SB in ‘17, I would have found a way to go. Sell a car, a kid, rob a bank, whatever it took. Seriously, I was ready to pay up to $5k for a ticket. Bucket list is just to go to a SB game. Vikings in it? Double bucket. Vikings in it at home? No measure. I was ready.

Go ahead. I dare you.
Underestimate this man.

Yeah I was a little worried that going to a Week 17 game there could be this chance. But with coming back at holiday time it’s really the only option.

Ha, yeah on the other hand, last week probably would’ve been worse. So there’s that 🤷‍♂️.

It seems like they’ve been playing in Seattle a lot these recent years. I’ve thought about going to one of those games but they are pretty pricey too. And if I’m paying that much I also want to be around a bunch of Vikings fans! It’s pretty rare that I see that and its always nice even when I’m here and I see people with Vikings regalia and Vikings beer signs!
Well Buddy at least you can give us all a live view opinion of Mannion as he will be playing today.
And as you stated at least its Alot more fun seeing it live in the home setting. I live in NW Ohio, so we always went to see the Vikes play in Detroit. Did it 5 times, in the old Silverdome. Everytime we of course were surrounded by Lions fans. 3 of the times we really cool and we had a pretty good time as we were amongst some pretty cool Lions fans and had some fun back n forth banter. It helped that we won, but it was all very fun civil back n forth.
The other 2 times weren't good at all. Unfortunately we were were in the middle of some very obnoxious fans. The one game I had had enough with the 4 drunk A holes behind us, and fortunately my wife talked me into moving to seats that were empty. Back in that period of my life, if I woulda just had 1 of my brawling buddies with me after the game we would have followed them out and continued it outside the stadium. But it was just my wife and I so I had to behave.
After that I said someday I want to go to a game in Minny and see them with my people lol.
Well when i turned 40 my present was tickets to the Vikings vs the Titans in the Metrodome on my actual birthday. We won, and it was so amazing being in the sea of purple and part of the clan and not the enemy.
So enjoy your day man and have a blast.
Hope they give u a win.
Well it was a pretty boring game for the first half at least. It picked up a bit at the end but there was definitely not much energy in the stadium. Most of it came from Bears fans or those select few times where there was something exciting happening, like an important third down or something like that. I'm assuming the place would have a much different feel during a game where starters are playing and people actually cared about the outcome of the game. I was talking with my dad and basically said this was probably the best outcome given the circumstances, since it could affect draft status for next year and it was at least a little exciting towards the end.

I was more surprised at how bad the Bears were. They squeaked by our 2nd string team with their starters. Pretty poor performance on their end and I wonder if they'll be looking for a change at qb in the offseason. For our interests, I hope not!

Kind of a snoozefest to attend though, so I was a little bummed that this ended up being the game that I saw there but oh well, can't really do anything about it. The stadium is really impressive and a really cool place. I'm at least glad I got to see it one time!
